Project 357 - Day 49

Every third Friday I sit in this chair.  Tony's the best!!!

Project 357 - Day 48

Out performing a Section 404 Survey and look what we found in the crossing!  Turns out it was a county vehicle and it has been there for two days.  Nope not stolen either, the two county employees where were in it got out, but they didn't get the truck out.  We watched them as they pulled it out.  Total loss!  Sure wouldn't want to be those guys!

Project 357 - Day 47

Does this mean I'm getting old?

Project 357 - Day 46

Part of the new diet ... breakfast in a bowl.  I just might lose some weight while killing the gout!  And that's a lose I can stand to do!

Project 357 - Day 45

"Peas and Carrots"?  Nope! "Peas and Gout" ... freezing the effected joint helps with the swelling a little.  Changing the diet radically to improve my chances of killing this flare up ... 7 days and counting!  Argh!

Project 357 - Day 44

Our new way of shopping and getting around ... notice a difference?

Project 357 - Day 43

Tried Bountiful Baskets this week and what a deal!  This is the veggie basket; 2 celery, lettuce, butternut squash, 5 bags carrots, bunch of bananas (I ate one on the way home), 2 boxes of grape tomato's, dozen potato's, 3 yellow grapefruits, 3 pears, 6 apples, and 6 oranges.  I also ordered a fruit basket (not shown) that had more oranges, grapefruits, lemons, and limes.  AND I ordered rye bread and got 4 loafs for $10.  Total bill was $40 for everything!  This is the way to go!  Who wants some carrots?

Project 357 - Day 42

What the heck?  Found these on the bottom of my new shoes.  Didn't see a use for them, so I took them off.  I mean if they don't do anything, then I don't need 'em, eh?

Project 357 - Day 41

You need not be afraid ... it needs to be done every 6 months or you will lose what you got!  Friendly reminder to make your appointment today.

Project 357 - Day 40

Not the best view of the day ... you figure it out!

Project 357 - Day 39

Look at the pretty bananas.

Project 357 - Day 38

Oh look, some good meaning plant person put scarfs on all those cactus to keep them warm this winter!

Project 357 - Day 37

Argh ... shopping on Valentine's Day!  Guess I have to be good, eh?

Project 357 - Day 36

The nectar of life!

Project 357 - Day 35

New mode of transportation for the Castell household.  Now we need to put lights, racks and panniers on it so we can go shopping with it.  Saving on gas and reducing our carbon foot print at the same time!  Gosh are we going green!  LOL

Project 357 - Day 34

Tearing up the house and painting while looking for work.  It makes her happy, thus making me happy!

Project 357 - Day 33

If this is suppose to filter stormwater and reduce velocity of the sheet flow from the area, how do they expect it to work when there are holes under it?  Argh!  And they say contractors have common sense and are mechanically inclined!

Project 357 - Day 31 & 32

I just can't help but keep updating on Chester's progress.  After 1/2 day on the meds, his attitude has changed and he "seems" to be getting better.  Time will tell.

Our anniversary dinner out with Joel, just in from Shanghai; Tricia's sisters, Gigi and Julie; and the "kids", Sean, Gabe and Sarah (youngest is 18!).

Project 357 - Day 30

Now we have the $1,000 kitty!  Another trip to the emergency room vet clinic and he becomes the second 1K cat we have.  Our big hearts keep bringing in these strays and they end up costing us.  So how do you put a price on affection and love?

Project 357 - Day 29

I thought this was a bike RIDE not river crossing!  Yes, in Arizona this is a river crossing!  I think it's pretty funny too.

Project 357 - Day 28

Traditional Friday night meal for me at B-Line.  It's so yummy!

Project 357 - Day 27

Two words ... "Not MINE!" ... enough said

Project 357 - Day 26

"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"

Project 357 - Day 25

Okay so far only $80, but he's still not up and around like he should be!  I feel so sorry for him, all he does is lay around and occasionally eating a little and drinking water.  Vet thinks by the injuries he was stuck some where and couldn't get loose.  Ear is beat up pretty bad and he lost a claw on the hurt paw.

Project 357 - Day 24

Do you know what it is?  Extra points if you can tell me what's wrong.
